Update 4/28/09

Now that the weather is getting nicer, we're spending more time outside which suits Haidyn just perfectly! She loves running around the yard, climbing up and down the step to the patio and of course, chasing Paisley. When we're in the front yard, she likes to see how close she can get to the street before we yell at her. She's always pushing the boundries!

Another First

Haidyn fell asleep in her high chair! Silly girl!
Haidyn is doing great. She's really getting the hang of this whole running thing. She loves to run around in the back yard. She tries to chase Paisley (or maybe it's the ball, I'm not sure). Hopefully it will warm up soon so we can spend more time outside. She loves to play with her ball. She'll throw it and even kick it. We might have a soccer player on our hands. Or maybe a Track & Field star. She likes to hold the ball by her face like she's going to do the shot put. She's playing hide and seek now. She does the seek part, she gets very excited when she finds someone!

Haidyn's First Birthday

1 Year Old.

We had a nice birthday. I got to work from home that day so we were able to spend the day together. We met Daddy for lunch and he snuck Haidyn some french fries. Afterwards we went and got a couple of helium balloons. She's not so sure about those things. All was good until the end of the day when she took a tumble down the back stairs. I took the gate down to let Paisley out and didn't worry about anything because she was in the living room with Mike. Well, she's pretty fast now, but the time I went down the stairs, let Paisley out and turned around, Haidyn had made it from the living room to the back stairs and fell. She got a couple of bumps on the head, but otherwise is doing fine. She even got to have some treats because we felt so bad. She got to eat TWO mini cupcakes and even got some orange juice. She's been cut off from the juice because we're trying to transition her from formula to milk and it's not going so well. I think she'd take another tumble to be allowed to have orange juice again.
