Sledding!

Our first sledding of the season!  Finally got some snow and it was above 25 degrees. Kids had a lot of fun out on the hill with some friends. I was a little worried the first time Eli went down,  but he wasn't scared at all and didn't even mind when he wiped out!

Christmas!

We spent Christmas at home this year.  It was a little weird to not have snow for Christmas,  but we managed.  :) Kids had a good time and got too many presents.  Santa brought them a wii u and mommy and daddy got each other a new TV for downstairs,  so we have quite the set up now.  Each time I ask the kids what their favorite present was,  I get a different answer,  so it seems they are really enjoying all their gifts!

Bethlehem Bells

Ring those Bethlehem Bells, was the theme for this year's St. John's PK- 2nd grade Christmas program.  Haidyn was a bell ringer.  I'm glad she told me beforehand,  otherwise I would have been quite concerned when she didn't walk out with the rest of her class.  :) Each student was asked to make a bell ornament for the school Christmas tree.  Haidyn got to take hers home this week.  Now we just need to get a tree at home so we have something to hang it on.  :)

Thanksgiving play

Haidyn made a mighty fine native American at the school's thanksgiving play.  It was put on by the first and second graders. Next time you see Haidyn,  ask her to sing,  "I'm a little Turkey." :)

Fall soccer

Soccer season begins. Haidyn went up a league, she's in U7 now. Bigger field, new rules, and they have goalies now. First game went well, no loss! It was a tie. Go Minions!

PK2!

Eli has his first day of school today. PK2 (called My Day (formerly Little Lambs)), started their first trimester for the 2014/15 school year. Eli was so excited to go and couldn't care less about mom leaving him there. :)
