Dinner outside

Our first in the 80's day and daddy went out with the boys, so it was the perfect night to make some sandwiches and eat outside. I love that our kids love being outside!

Park

It was a little chilly yesterday, but the kids didn't mind. It was just nice to get to the park for the first time this year. So glad our kids like to be outdoors!!

Somebody is hungry.

Not only did Eli polish off his cheeseburger from McDonald's, he's finishing off the rest of Haidyn's sandwich. (Haidyn got a sandwich because a certain BAD dog ate her burger right off the table ).

Check ups

Both kids had their checkups yesterday. Eli had his 18 month and Haidyn had her kindergarten checkup. Both are doing great! Eli is 34" long and weighs 26 lbs. Haidyn is 43" tall and weighs 40 lbs. Haidyn had to get one shot and was none to pleased about it. Took the nurse holding her legs and me holding her arms to pin her to the table so the nurse could give the shot. Eli got two shots, he wasn't pleased, but only cried for a few seconds. Eli will go back when he turns two and the doctor wants to see Haidyn at 6, but won't require any more vaccines until 6th grade. Yay! The doctor was pleased with how both are growing. They're both taller than average and of average weight. All in all, a good doctors visit.

Someday... When they're both bigger...

And can't stand each other, I'll show them this picture and remind them that they used to play so nicely together.

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter! The kids got baskets with new jammies and more than enough candy in their Easter eggs. Eli wasn't really into looking for the eggs. He was quite content with Haidyn doing the searching and he doing the opening.
