8 months old

And another month has passed. Eli is as adorable as ever! He's trying really hard to be mobile, but can't quite figure our the whole crawling thing. But he's found another way to get around. He scoots on his butt. He loves to pull things off of the bottom shelf under the coffee table.

Sleep has been better the last couple of nights too. He still likes to get up between 3&5 to eat though. But for most part, that's the only time he gets up.

Bananas!

Guess who else likes bananas rolled in graham crackers? Yes, we have another good little eater in our house. He ate almost an entire banana. What a pork chop. He loves his fruits! It's amazing what this little boy can pack away. I hate to see what he'll eat as a teenager!

Teething?

And so our days of Eli sleeping well are over. We don't feel any bumps, but he's getting up like he did before his bottom teeth popped through, so we're thinking he has another one coming. Hopefully soon! We want to sleep again! It's been another few rough nights and probably will be for a few more. Sigh.

Play time!

Elias is getting to be such a big boy! He loves sitting in his room and playing with his toys.

He's not crawling yet, and I'm totally ok with that! The longer he stays in one spot, the better for all of us. I think Haidyn's world is going to turn upside down when her little brother can follow her where ever she goes. We'll see how much she loves him then. :)

Tuckered out Haidyn

Obviously Haidyn played hard today at Jens house. She fell asleep on the way home with a ring pop in her mouth.

Stroller ride

Elias is officially a big boy. Or at least he rides like one now. He went for his first ride in the stroller without the infant carrier. Sure looks like he had a good time with his sister and Grandma Schatz!

Oh Haidyn!

I'm working in the office today and my cell phone buzzes, I have a text from Jen. First thought is, something is wrong with one of the kids. I open up the message and it says, ” Haidyn is setting up her breast pump. Lol” I ask how she's explaining that to her friends. Jen replies that she was very matter of fact about it: this fits here, I need this. Then once it was all assembled, Ryan (2 years old) grabbed her scarf and ran away with it and she chases him saying,” I need that for my breast pump!”

Silly girl!
