Oh Haidyn!

I'm working in the office today and my cell phone buzzes, I have a text from Jen. First thought is, something is wrong with one of the kids. I open up the message and it says, ” Haidyn is setting up her breast pump. Lol” I ask how she's explaining that to her friends. Jen replies that she was very matter of fact about it: this fits here, I need this. Then once it was all assembled, Ryan (2 years old) grabbed her scarf and ran away with it and she chases him saying,” I need that for my breast pump!”

McSquealer

Yesterday, Mike and I were in the dining room talking and Haidyn and Eli were playing on the floor in the living room.  They were getting loud. I tell Haidyn to ease up on the squealing, the high pitch is hurting my ears. Mike says, It's not Haidyn. I turn and look, and sure enough, there's Eli sitting there playing with his sister and squealing like a little girl!

Weight check

Eli went in for his flu shot shot and weight check. He's 18lbs even and right back in the 50th percentile. Yay! He did okay with his shot, cried, but it didn't last too long. He's even sleeping better now. Knock on  wood! Dare I even put in writing that he slept through the night last night? No 3am wakeup, not even his normal 5am i'm hungry and want to eat wakeup! I heard him talking to himself at 6:10! Woohoo!

Cranky baby!

Elias didn't have one of his better days today. He was a cracky boy! Jen said she tried to see if his top teeth were coming in and she barely touched the top of his gums and he screamed bloody murder. He's been cranky since I picked him up too, but it's bath night, so cranky or not, they're both going in. Should have thought of this earlier, he loves baths!

7 months old!

Elias is 7 months old now! I don't want to get too excited, but last night he woke up four times, but put himself back to sleep each time! Yay!

He's still not crawling yet, which i'm totally okay with. :) He's still our happy baby, that hasn't changed. But he naps well most days now, which is a huge improvement for him.

Big Wheel!

Haidyn was so excited that she's big enough to ride her big wheel now! She made it all the way around the block and as soon as she got back she wanted to call Nana and Papa to let them know that get legs are long enough now. :)

Tooth number two.

This is what a little boy with two teeth and two more on the way looks like at 10:40 pm. It's going to be another long night.
