After hair cut!

She ended up only getting two inches cut off. Guess she chickened out. :)

Mike was talking to her last night and he said he was going to miss combing her long hair. She patted his leg and said, ” It's okay daddy, it will grow back.” 

Not sure how much she'll actually get cut off, I told her we would start with an inch and go from there. So we'll see in a little bit!

Notice anything new?

Eli has his first tooth! I wouldn't have even noticed if he didn't bite my finger. Just a little tiny sharp point poked though on his bottom gum. Yay Eli!

The first of many......

Times Haidyn will dress Eli up like a girl. Haidyn wanted to play princess with Eli. He didn't seem to mind. This time. :)

Happy Easter!

Haidyn was thrilled to find an Easter basket and eggs hidden by the Easter bunny. Eli didn't care so much. :) But he did get his first taste of Jello today. He liked it.

Easter egg hunt

Haidyn had an Easter egg hunt at school today. It was lots of fun! Then there were games, crafts and snacks too! Deaconess Heidi sure knows how to throw a great party fire the little ones!

Eli is 6 months old

Can I have my newborn back? He slept so much better back then! It's a good thing he's adorable and such a good baby otherwise. :) He is now 27 3/4” long and 16lbs 8 oz. His weight is down a little in his growth chart but the doctor isn't concerned. He had to go back for a second flu shot in a month, so we'll check guys weight then too. He's eating like a champ. He loves his cereal, pears, peas and bananas. Applesauce, green beans and sweet potatoes are ok. He's hardly ever on his back anymore. He flips right over into his belly. He sits up really well now too. Can't get up by himself yet, but he's getting stronger! He still tips over after awhile, but every day he can sit even longer. He's a great baby and always has a smile for everyone.
