How did my baby turn 5 already? Eli had a lot of fun having his friends over to help celebrate his birthday!
And on his actual birthday, he got to be a stealth ninja!

Haidyns soccer team, the Bulldogs, had a BIG win this week! They played really well and worked as a team! Go Bulldogs!
Another fun year of school had begun! Haidyn exclaimed, "3rd grade is awesome! We can stand wherever we want in line and sit wherever we want at lunch!" Eli enjoyed his first day also. He got to count and use the stick and pretend like he was a teacher for a few minutes.
What a crazy group of kids! But what a great group of kids! I'm so thankful for the wonderful friends Haidyn has made!
It's been a long time since Haidyn has been sick. Today was a doozy. Finally she sleeps. Hoping we're through the worst of it.
Soccer has begun! Eli is on the Kangaroo Kickers this year and Haidyn will be returning to the Wildcats. It's going to be a great season!
Ok, so I'm a little late in posting this, but she's turned her birthday into a month long celebration, so I'm still within the correct month. :)
We had a girls day down in the city to pick up her new best friend, Lea Clark. We had a lot of fun at the huge American Girl store in Chicago. We took Lea to lunch at their cafe, shopped for new clothes and even went to the salon to get Lea's ears pierced.
Round 2 was on her actual birthday and she went to gymnastics with her friend Ava and she got to spend the night. And the best part of her birthday was Eli spending the night with Ava's family. A brother free birthday!
Round 3 was going to Rainforest Cafe for dinner during the week to celebrate with the family.
Round 4 was having a sleepover with her besties for life, Jordan, Anna, Will and Ryan.
I think we're done now. :)
St John's had their daddy daughter dance this past Friday. The girls get so excited to have a special night with their dad!
Christmas 2015 was spent at Nana and Papa's. The kids were very excited to see their cousins Bryce and Tori! And of course their grandparents, Aunts and Uncle. :)
They were both very happy to see that santa found them. :)
St John's had their PreK through 2nd grade Christmas program. This will be the one and only year Eli and Haidyn will be in the same program. Eli was the lamb in the nativity scene (the same as Haidyn when she was in PreK 3). They both did fantastic!
I'm a little late in getting caught up on things, but wanted to make sure I have Eli's incident documented. :/
We went ice skating about 5 weeks ago and we weren't on the ice 10 minutes and Eli was whimpering about his arm. He fell and his arm hurt. We got home and his elbow didn't look good. We went to the ER and sure enough, he fractured his elbow. He's done fantastic through the whole thing! Flash forward almost 5 weeks and the cast is off and he's doing great! We go back to the orthopedic in two weeks to make sure he has full mobility and then a visit over the summer for some x-rays to check the growth plates.
